“Rakesh Ambasana Design Studio” is an interior design firm in operations since the year 2010.
The firm finds its footing in the promising career of Rakesh Ambasana who kicked off as a draftsman so to say, in 2004, right after his formal design schooling in St. Francis Institute. It was to nobody’s surprise, that Rakesh had only one thing to bring to the table from day 1 – which is to learn, innovate and contribute more than what he did the previous day. Obviously, in no time he was the preferred team member for his employers to embark upon any new project, filled with aspirations and challenges. Which in itself, in a sense are the fuel to any decent designer’s creative engine.
Between 2008 – 2010 he finds himself not just designing solutions and executing the company deliveries but plainly spearheading key business accounts. All in all, after working on more than over a 100 projects between 2005-2010, striving upon the vision to explore newer possibilities of modern day innovations in designing furniture and human spaces, the firm “Rakesh Ambasana Design Studio” was born. Rakesh has also been peculiarly interested in using modern day experiential technologies in the realm of augmented and virtual reality in order to create exceptional human lifestyle experiences.
Over the years Rakesh has built a portfolio of projects, categorizing into Residences, Culture, Fashion and Lifestyle Spaces, Public and Private Institutions, Commercial, Corporate, Retail work spaces. With all his completed endeavors, he always redefines the underlying narrative of a successful project beyond just brick and mortar.
Gratitude towards the journey between designing spaces for people and being a medium of bringing them to life, is at the core of all the people which the firm employs including – Designers, Managers, Craftsmen, Suppliers and Consultants. It is in and because of this ideology, that the team since 2010 has upheld the principle of building human relationships – not just with clients but with everyone that we associate with, as an equivalent to our indicator of success. With Rakesh leading the firm and a team of contemporary designers, we have completed more than 75 projects of varying magnitudes in India across multiple cities. The firm and its team is aptly capable to provide end to end solution, conceptualization to completion, for magnanimous to boutique projects in parallel.
